I don’t know if the mods of this comm even have any control over the sub anymore after the admin intervention, but I think this would be the most reasonable outcome.

It’s currently listed as the fallback forum, which is a damn shame because the sub is a big source of users; it’s why I moved too.

People who do want a better alternative with 3rd party apps can only move if it’s properly listed.

Listing it even as a sister community would be better than what it is right now.

    Seems to me that Reddit mods are too concerned with staying “in power” than actually building communities and sharing knowledge. Caving to reddits demands just to maintain their mod status is so sad to me

    Thinking like a good little git(hub) user, the term “Forked Community on Lemmy” came to mind all too easily.

    So it would just say “Lemmy forum”? I doubt most normies would know what that means and just keep using reddit.

      Most people coming to a piracy sub would know what forums are, and by now have probably heard of Lemmy already
