Ideally, your resources ($$$) should be secured, not up to constant performance review by guests while an employer enjoys profits off the excess productivity.

Also, someone can make a fortune in tips, but good luck asking the bank for any kind of loan.
That’s not guaranteed income and it’s dependent on what job / location you work at. Ideally, your resources ($$$) should be secured, not up to constant performance review by guests while an employer enjoys profits off the excess productivity.
Point being, the bank won’t consider your tips when you apply for a mortgage, even if you’re making a fortune.
