    Sounds like karma farming or more likely Reddit pumping their own numbers.

    I would hope that on Lemmy that these kind of anomalies would prompt an investigation. Like, fix the garbage coming from your instance or we’re not going to accept your content.

    Meanwhile, this is the latest of many times I’ve seen completely fabricated posts and discussions that are blatantly ignored by Reddit. Another example is bizarre threads with 20k votes and like three comments.

      On Reddit, right? (I mean, of course on Reddit, when was the last time we saw a 20k post on Lemmy…)

      I see those quite often too, the IPO is really impacting the experience
