Hi I want to have a server running on my pc where 4 people can each mass upload photos to their own respective folders.

They are on iPhone and have 700+ photos each. I would like them to upload it all to my server, but I also need this to be an easy process for them to select and upload.

Any suggestions on software?

Edit: thank you guys! Immich looks great, I will set that up

Maybe have a look at PhotoPrism. You can install the app via PWA on their IPhone and upload their pictures through the webinterface. And it indexes images pretty well.

For all you Immich users - does Immich properly support background uploads on iOS? I do see that it is supported in the docs, but wanted an end-user perspective. Nextcloud background photo uploads has been broken on iOS and it doesn’t seem like they’re willing to fix it

Nextcloud memories as an alternative to Immich. I don’t use either so can’t say which is preferable, although I’d probably choose Immich unless the other features of Nextcloud are relevant to you (since Nextcloud is rather heavy and complex).

OP, look into photosync in app store! I use this app to sync photos and videos from apple devices to samba. You can download photos as well.
