Not remotely surprising and it’s only going to get worse. Before all of the API blackouts started people at least had the presumption that Admins would listen to some extent. Once the pushback started from users, the Admins just decided to say screw it and pushed forward anyway. With every action the users took, the Admins removed the mask more and more. At this point they’re just going to start openly controlling the website in ways that they said they never would. That Steve Huffman said he never would.
Just the early death throes of a website. Nothing to see here.
