Honestly I like the method where you put it in a dry, preheated pan on the stove, add a bit of water and lid. Results in a crispy crust and melty cheese if executed correctly. The only downside is it is less idiot proof than using an oven.
My oven could only dream of getting to 550. and putting it in hot overcooks the bottom. The crust is done. You need to be gentle or you dry it out too much.
Not of it never gets beyond warm. I’ve been alive for 40 fucking years and have been reheating pizza for most of it. You’re just wrong. It’s ok. You’ll get over it.
The last bit is what truly turned me. Pizza in the toaster oven/air fryer is absolutely choice.

No. Put it in a hot, 550 degree oven for 5 minutes or less.

Long exposure dries it out; a quick blast is best.
