You probably won’t hear from them. They get WAY too many suggestions for that. But I’m pretty sure they read it. To get started with modding, you find lots of help already. There’s the NMS modding Discord and a number of great tutorials online.

There’s already mods out there for planet generation and flora variety. Problem is just that no one apart from the mod user sees these changes.
