Clone Robotics unveils Protoclone, a slightly creepy, faceless bipedal musculoskeletal android. This anatomically accurate robot is essentially a synthetic human with 200+ degrees of freedom, over 1,000 Myofibers, and more than 200 sensors. One thing that all humanoid robots are missing right now is some type of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which would allow them to learn on their own. Protoclone will eventually be called Clone Alpha when the limited-run of 279 robots commences. Pricing has not yet been announced, but pre-orders are set to begin later this year. Hasn't it been an EXTREMELY long held fact by robotics designers
