Disney is raking its customers over the coals with a 75% price hike for their annual subscription (originally $80.) People wonder why piracy is on the rise.
Netflix, Amazon, and Disney have all upped their prices. Most people have more than 1 streaming service. It’s not that they can’t live without them all or this takes food out of their mouths, they just are questioning the value. That’s how pricing services works.
No one is crying or upset about this in any meaningful way. People are just going “is this worth it?” and rightfully so. I don’t get this tendency to paint people having that debate as entitled or confused about money or whatever.
