Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched in central London on Saturday to demand the British government call for a ceasefire after Israel's military widened its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip.

One does not declare war on a military occupation. You are already at war. Israel has been the occupying power for the past 50 years.

Gaza has been under blockade since 2006. If gaza was a state then they would have been at war since 2006 because a blockade is an act of war.
