Hi. Looking for some help

First time user trying to setup a NextCloud server using Docker + Nextcloud AIO. I can’t seem to open ports 443 and 80 despite trying everything, so I decided I wanted to use it offline to play around with it as this is my first time trying out Ubuntu. I understand I don’t need NC for offline use, but I like the UI and I had some time to kill.

Okay, so, I’ll try to summarize what I did and where I’m at

Because I couldn’t open my ports, I was stuck at the validating domain section.

I looked at Github and I added the line that would bypass that

"–e SKIP_DOMAIN_VALIDATION=true "

Which worked, and I bypassed the domain section. I got the container page, waited it for all to turn green, then clicked “Open my Nextcloud”.

At first, nothing loaded, it was just a white page.

So I tried

https://192.168.1.72/settings/admin/overview

Which brought me to a “SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT” “Secure Connection Failed” page.

Tried looking online for some time to fix this but I’m still lost. The guides I found seem to be a fix for online use, not locally?

Any ideas?

Thanks!
