It’s stuff like this which makes me so confused at Starfield’s design choices. No Man’s Sky was released in 2016 and it had seamless transitions. And it’s still getting updates to improve on it.
Starfield suffers from being stuck on an ancient game engine.
Also the people who make decisions at Bethesda should find a new career to ruin.
There’s got to be so much janky Morrowind code rattling around in that thing.

Welp back to no mans sky!
Time to bring my main save file out of retirement.
I’m -giddy- right now, lol
I thought this was gonna be an early April Fools joke at first…
Nope. This looks amazing, and it’s already out. My jaw’s on the floor right now.
Yesterday I was taking to my co-op buddy about how ask the space stations looked the same. WHAT.
Yeah but a lot of that fit in with the underlying story, even though it made it suffer as a space exploration game.
Assuming you mean “all the space stations looked the same”.
Yeah. Like there is some variety in the furniture but the layout of all the stations seems to be identical. I am probably not far enough into the story to understand the lore yet. Only picked up the game a month or two ago and haven’t progressed that far. We did just discover an outlaw station which was different and cool.
