Super interesting. I’ve actually found i thrive best with 3-4 simultaneous contract jobs instead of just one, because I otherwise have too much time to wander or get distracted, versus just staying heads down and working.

I used to get job offers almost monthly, I haven’t had one in about six months. But I think it’s more due to the current economy and it being an election year than it drying up. I anticipate a bounce back Q1 or Q2 of next year.

The few cyber security people I’ve known…to work a good enough job that doesn’t pay shit, also means that due to the nature of their job they end up with clients that require drug testing or working at jobs that require it. Not an every case, but just something to be aware of.
