Packet tracer is definitely not OSS nor free as in speech. But it is probably your best bet for something to get started with. You can go on netacad and get it for free together with the self-paced introduction to packet tracer course. I’m not trying to shrill for Cisco, they’re a soulless company that exploits their position to extort insane prices. But PT is kinda nice, IF! all you want is to build simple networks and you don’t care about being vendor agnostic or only running FOSS.
PS: and cisco? 2900€ for a 24port l3 switch? GTFO, a mikrotik crs326 can do the same and is 200€ and it doesn’t require a DNA-center to enable licensing, why? BECAUSE IT DOESN’T REQUIRE ADDITIONAL LICENSES!!1!one!
That’s the next step: drop all encrypted traffic.
Maybe it’s a spin on beating a dead horse? It sure feels like it could be… I can’t keep track of all the activists, Americans on both sides, as well as aid workers, who have been killed in this senseless conflict. All the while we hear about dipshits calling for the eradication of civilians.
Wow! 95%? President Tebboune is really popular! Nobody gets 95% of the vote without being very popular. /s
Why do people do this? Is it a show of force? Like “imagine what I can do to you, if I’m able to cheat this boldly”.
If there’s enough lateral space to do it in.
When I was a child we didn’t have bike lanes, and biking to school was always an interesting endeavor. Thus I will always take off a bit of speed and give cyclists a good bit of space. But if there’s two or more bikes side by side, then they can take up enough road that you can’t pass them without crossing entirely into the other lane. And then they’re just a big pain as slow moving tractors and other farm equipment, except they’re even more annoying because they could just go single file.
Cyclists going side by side are inconsiderate assholes and this comes from a guy who bikes to work daily.
I like the fairphone idea, I really do, and I realize that maintaining the fairphone ecosystem is expensive… But! 550€ on sale for a 128GB storage and 6GB RAM phone? GTFO. Update promises are great, but a small company promising 7 years? I hope that the fairphone company survives that long, and even longer, but I wouldn’t be basing my phone purchase on that promise.
For my usage I can get comparable phones for the same cost per day, but with less of an initial investment, and without the risk of time.
I here I initially only had an issue with the phrasing “Each missile […] per missile”.
That’s frigging crazy as well as awesome. Last I went looking was probably like 15 or 20 years ago. And back then I didn’t learn about Harmy. Thanks for letting me know. I really believed that the laserdisc version was the only way to get rid of the crap Lucas added when he discovered Adderall and cgi in the late 90s.
As a stand up law abiding citizen I will of course refrain from seeking out these unlicensed materials ;)
It sorta depends on your physical security. If you live in a town, then sure, you can’t know who’s eavesdropping. But if you park in my yard, several hundred meters from the nearest public road, then I think we’d notice before you could do any damage.
there was a tendency for MUCH worse surprises to be included.
Yeah, like strange unreleased Weird Al tracks with sex and drugs references… Every spoof was labeled weird Al back in 2000

one of the many sources of de-specialized Star Wars
What are the others? I mean besides VHS? I was under the impression that the laserdisc rip was the only decent quality release of the original trilogy.
if you can still read after trying to parse that title
I’m still trying to restore normal operations, at the moment the people around are deciding on how to deal with my core dump…
Where is that in relation to the section saying dogs can’t play?
The Mouse, uh, finds a way…
I definitely wouldn’t want to steal from Mr Mouse
From what I can gather, the proposed battery will have a capacity of 8.5GWh with a nominal output of 85MW. But it can store 85MW (not MWh) for 100 hours? Either that article is written by someone who doesn’t really know what they’re relaying, or that’s some serious standby power dissipation.
Anybody here who passed high school physics and have some insights?
If you fix the problem, and you’ve managed to not get caught being the cause, by anyone who survived, then you’re the hero
The only cool part I thought was looking through the binocular things and spying on other tourists. I was an odd kid whatever
Yes, that is indeed extremely strange behavior. I don’t believe that it has ever been reported before /s
I know that this is beside the point but it probably wasn’t an AK47. AK47s are kinda rare. It was probably a Kalashnikov style riffle. https://youtube.com/watch?v=L_PR1OdS754
