Nothing new. My both deceased grandmother’s left behind houses, pole barns full of things. In the 80s, and the family resorted to renting a dumpster to get rid of much of it. It’s kind of sad, but everyone already had lots of junk of their own. I’m guilty of this as well, I’m starting to fill up a storage unit of my own. I however think twice now when I make a purchase.

I predict that nations will simply start blowing up satellites in space, creating a shroud of debris which will make space exploration nearly impossible.

I’m all for giving credit where credit is due.

While I get the altruistic impulse to intervene, I do also know that some people want to spend their life alone. Have no desire to have anyone involved in their lives. They’re totally at peace checking out of life by themselves, on their own terms. I do think it’s important to respect their wishes.

It’s set at a 50 mile radius, I have no interest in dating people on the other side of the world, I’d prefer someone I can interact with in person without having to hop on an airplane.

Get hardly anyone to notice me on okcupid, so I cancel my subscription, and within a day or two after it lapsed, I get 25 people interested in me, but I can’t see their profile unless I pay, so I resubscribe only to see they’re all in the Philippines and Africa. Then it’s back to getting nothing. It seems to me that okcupid baited me into buying a subscription and I fell for it. The whole service is a scam.

Probably a terrible idea, but melting the plastic and extruding the plastic in underground abandoned mines, filling up the empty spaces like icing on a cake from floor to ceiling. There are abandoned lead mines in Oklahoma, where the town was vacated because of the toxicity and the ground collapsing underneath. A place like that seems ideal.

Hopefully countermeasures are in place.

A business doesn’t want to advertise on a cesspool website. Who would have guessed?

For granted, there’s no shortage of coffee shops in my city. Locally operated and owned, and they have better coffee at better prices. Starbucks isn’t even a reasonable choice with so many better options available.

Many Boomers voted their progeny away when they put Reagan in office.

It’s not really necessary to be part of the Southern Baptist convention. In fact, it’s not really necessary to be part of any church at all. A person doesn’t have to go to church. There’s no requirement for it and they can live a perfectly moral and meaningful life without ever setting foot in a church.

JWs don’t go to college for that exact reason. It seriously is a way to keep people from leaving the faith. Frederick Douglass wrote about how slave owners went out of their way to keep slaves uneducated for a similar reason . He learned to read in secret and then was able to see many truths about the institution of slavery because of his education .

Why are they on there? It was obvious long ago that it’s a liability having an account on that service.

The one’s resigning are the people that shouldn’t be in office. It’s likely a great benefit to Florida that they’re gone.
