With a race this … Whatever this is, don’t you think you’d want to give every possible advantage to the person that CAN defeat Trump? Especially somewhere that she is likely to win, aren’t you concerned many like-minded people will make the same mistake you are/did?

I’m waiting for jatone to chime in. Humans aren’t good at logic problems, especially real world ones where they don’t have to follow instructions. Ever try giving a logic puzzle to a 6 year old and they answer “well I wouldn’t do either of those things I’d buy an airplane and use a laser gun and then…”

That’s what this stuff is. While I understand the desperate need to reform the system, you don’t do that by throwing the game. I know how unlikely it is to change their minds (and they already voted) but others reading this who aren’t as bull-headed might take half a second to re-evaluate the actual outcomes available from the actions to be taken. That’s the hope anyways.

Since this is the first time in human history it’s every happened, we will have to wait to see what word or phrase becomes standard to use. Because if it had happened before, we’d have a definition for it.

And it would probably be super illegal beyond being immoral. Like international communities would all agree that anyone committing such acts would be evil and the good nations of the world would act immediately to defend the victims and stop any government or army from continuing.

At least if it ever happens again we will know better.

Yeah it’s a weird and shitty side of our culture, like we are much more prone to punish women and defend young men, but only at the court stage. (I feel from personal experience, hence me wondering about the actual data.)

But it’s like it isn’t even about the victim since men and women both get treated like shit in reporting and getting any sort of justice, but it’s almost like “while since we are here let’s just have a look… Oh a woman is the bad guy? Perfect.” Or “oh a bunch of young boys?!? Isn’t that gay? I also would like to see the data on how much more likely a famous/rich/powerful person is to be actually tried/prosecuted if they abused boys/men vs girls/women. It sure feels like it at least gets way more publicity when it’s boys/men as victims.

So I was gonna make fun of her without reading the article. But I stopped myself and read it.

Student wants to have a republican club, at a Historically black university. In order to be recognised officially by the uni you need a staff member with 3 years at the uni to sign of/endorse your club. She has emailed at least 2 faculty and both have declined. She does not say how many she has reached out to or in what way. Everyone should feel so sad for this poor woman who just wants to be heard!

No I kidd. She’s a whiner and an idiot looking for attention. She says she has met with 3 other students a few times unofficially, yet the minimum to be recognised officially as a group is 10. So even if she could get a sign off by a faculty, she doesn’t have enough people interested in her garbage to qualify anyways (my soul brightens just slightly at this thought)
