So obviously the saved state in the app wasn’t actually expired, since it could still approve MFA requests. So what good is it expiring biometric auth if the app is still authorized to log me in effectively bypassing MFA?

Asus ROG Ally is a prime example. Excellent Windows 11 no BS experience with about 30 mins of playtime on battery.
For me personally, I like having my taskbar at the top of the screen. MS removed the ability to change the position of the taskbar in W11. It does a lot more than that, potentially giving you an almost XP like experience if that’s what you want.
