This is what I am afraid of if they are in all blue cities by the midterms in the day of election they in theory can hold anyone they want.

Maybe this would be a push for a real open source based phone. GNU/Linux phones needed this push to really get more popularity
Shutdown might help Trump to push his project 2025 agenda with no judges working and the justice halted.
Luckily he is American. If he was a legal migrant having been booked would be considered a visa offense and he could be sent to a concentration camp.
Don’t you have the impression this should be a private message sent by mistake publicly?
First they came for the “illegal” immigrants, now it’s the trans people…but at the same time also now they are going ove the legal immigrants too
And Jimmy Kimmel is the one cancelled
Claude code can help
Android is open source, or big part of it. If Android auto part is open source (I am not sure), someone could in theory use this to have car mirroring. I think it’s a very useful feature that no one is forced to use. I don’t see why some people are against it in the comments
I think the instance owner would be responsible, but what if the instance is out of the state?
Unless the instance owner is on a visa, with a criminal record they could get him. But otherwise it’s hard to be enforced.
Maybe they could ask the app stores to ban apps in that states. Something like that
Also states could ask ISP blocking the main instances.
Also for home network I don’t won’t my IOT to have a real IP to the Internet. Using IPv4 NAT you can have a bit of safety by obscurity
Oh really I had the impression if you have a GPLv3 dependency in the same pack it could be interpreted as distributing it with your code.
Well thank TIL for me.
Linux has a problem with distribution of binaries, and companies for profit doesn’t want to share source … and packages with only binaries have some dependencies problem… although Flatpak and Snap improved this A LOT…. But then would have GLPv3 in many dependencies and you cannot ship it with a “for profit” product.
This is the biggest hurdle for Linux “for profit” market for better apps. Also many Linux users are against the paid model, preferring open source. There is a cultural limitation to break the bubble
I think SteamOS is helping a lot to break this … but still Linux desktop need to have a cultural change specially on license model or binary stability to be able to have a better app availability
Dammit. I will install their app just for this. And also help any fuck spez too. But I am sure they will have bots to avoid that. We need bots to make this work.
Why not Lemmy instead?
I really don’t get it. Even GOP has the majority why headlines says it’s up to Dems?
