Doesn’t look like anything to me.

Yeah I won’t even play their games when they’re free anymore.
I’m stoked for this game. I love the art style and direction it seems they’re going for: weird and fun.
Can you imagine if all of Roller Coaster Tycoon was built into this game?
I have. I found that it was a little too repetitive and shallow, but it was fun for a while. Tbh I had hoped that Starfield would aim to be a better version of NMS.
Maybe we just stop making FPS games if we can’t innovate on them?
That may be a possibility, but I worry that it will be a second-class citizen in a game that really, really wants you to shoot stuff.
I really disagree on both points. I don’t see why I should be exploring the galaxy by mass murdering everything in it.
And Skyrim is definitely 100% about the combat. Every single mechanic serves that purpose.
Granted, there are lots of non-gun games. I guess I mostly take offense to Starfield because it feels so out of place.
I’d argue that Starfield having guns is really at odds with the theme of the game. It turns it from a space exploration game into just another FPS but you have to drive through some space to get to the next mission.
I think the important thing is that our services should not REQUIRE you to pay monthly. Some people can afford to maintain these things but many cannot. A paywalled service is less useful for everyone, including those who can afford it.
I haven’t played since 2, but it was definitely “make your own fun”. At the time everyone was playing the 2 hour demo over and over, and that was some of the most fun I’ve ever had.
It took me a few days to adjust, but now I’m feeling pretty comfortable. I’m excited for what’s to come as the communities grow.
The real answer is that it doesn’t; you simply hear about it more. The other superpowers who are flying super-sonic jets around all day are much more secretive and if you think the retribution is bad here let me tell you it is worse in China or Russia. Also, people see these things with their naked eye all the time. Seriously, drive out to the mid-west and just look at the sky at night. You will see them up there, making their 90 degree turns and all. But the stigma is really so bad within our culture that people just don’t talk about it, and light pollution is so bad in the cities that you can’t see the sky anywhere near one.
