Now admittedly I’m just a gamer, not a Gamer^TM, but I personally don’t have any interest in the different designs and such; do they look cool sometimes? Sure, but I spend very little time looking at my PC so it’s entertaining for the first two hours, and then it’s just a chassis. Also I really don’t like those annoying LED lights and have to switch them off; I sleep in the same room as my PC and I don’t want the lights on at night (I never switch off my PC cause like seriously, who does that?)

Would it serve a streamer more than it would the average person however? Most likely; fans will enjoy glancing at it from time to time, and it’ll help add some interest to the average person just flicking through different gamer streams.

I have like…at least three people in my immediate family who are like “So I…uh…went…to…uh…the…uh…repair…uh…shop…uh…”

On a serious note, I hate dis. I need complete certainty about my day and I hate surprises. My days all thankfully blend into each other and provided no outside interference happens, I know how my day will progress.

I’m ordering noodles for lunch and I’m going to watch squid games season 2; tomorrow I’m going to have Korean for lunch and will continue squid games season 2. Both nights I will eat chips and watch birdgirl. On Thursday I will have chicken and mushroom pie and watch squid games. What I choose to have for dinner will be what little chaos I allow in my life. I will also watch birdgirl.

Got to like third level once

I’ve no idea how I had so much tolerance back then for difficult games; I recall when I got a megadrive and only ever completed like 2-3 games because everything else was so monstrously difficult. I enjoyed a lot of the games I played back then but I’m much happier today for being able to have easy mode so I can actually the enjoy the game just like no-lifers.

Some kind of (Atari?) console that I think only had pong, or if it had other games I can’t remember them.

The first good games I played? Prince of Persia and Karateka on DOS, also mines of Titan but I had zero idea how to play that. Also word muncher; loved that game but I was a dumb kid and didn’t know the solutions many times. I also got an MSX keyboard and the little tape machine addon that somehow played video games off audio cassettes. I still have zero idea how you put video games on audio cassettes.

I’ll do you one worse and I’ve posted this before: when you make a post looking for help on an esoteric problem, and then solve it and just reply ‘nvm fixed it’, and then years later have the same problem but when you go looking for the solution only find your old posts.
