When I was in the military I had friend ask to get married for the benefits. Healthcare is free(ish) in the US military (cause we’re far behind on the rest of the world). And she had a heart condition. Lovely as she was, she was also one of my best friend’s ex. So… Ultimately I said no, as there’s the wrong reason to get married, and then there’s THE WRONG REASON TO GET MARRIED, and this was the latter.

She moved on and married someone who had medical able to help her, and she’s been with him since, with kids and a happy life, so I feel no negative emotions from it. But I wanted to help my friend out, so initially I felt very, very conflicted.

Is it really? I started the final season (part 1, I guess?) and just stopped after like dredging through 6 episodes. It was so pointlessly hard to follow. Time skips are always gimmicky and lazy writing to me.

Season 1 was great though. Iconic intro song.

Agreed. It’s just studio bravado. “THIS IS MY LAST, BEST, AND FINAL OFFER PARKER!” as Spiderman continues and JJJ keeps paying despite his previous outburst.

It’s just awkwardly worded. The SAG reported they’ve received an offer from the studio, in which they studio called “the last, best, and final” offer they’re (sag) going to get.

Reading about people getting crushed like that last year generated a new fear for me. At 40yrs old I thought I was passed that phase! Now if I am tucked in to tight or myself dogs are on either side of myself legs in bed, or otherwise unable to move a part of my body I start to panic. It’s a strange, new, shitty feeling.
