Alright, it’s pretty clear to me you don’t actually care about the truth of the matter here, so I don’t really see a point in engaging further.
Feel free to have the last word. Best of luck to you.

If you don’t think Ukraine is on Russia’s doorstep I suggest you brush up on your geography.
it’s difficult to keep things secret when an entire country is suddenly involved in a war that’s literally on it’s doorstep
This description applies to the war with Ukraine as well. Weird that you think this is a point in your favor.
The best part is now all the foundations are here too so when the next big ‘event’ happens Lemmy will be in an even better position to absorb all those users.
“No one is advocating for sexually explicit content to be available in an elementary school library or in [the] children’s section of the library,” Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said. “That’s a distraction from the real challenge. I understand and respect that parents may choose to limit what their children read, especially at younger ages. My wife and I did. Others do, too. But no parent should have the right to tell another parent’s child what they can and cannot read in school or at home. Every student deserves access to books that reflect their experiences and help them better understand who they are.”
Why does Mr. “AB” have like 8 shoulder pads on? Is he insecure about the size of his shoulders?
Weird how you keep asking “questions” like this after you were already shown that the stops were extremely disproportionate. It’s almost like you didn’t care about the answers to the questions at all, and were just using “questions” as a vehicle to insert your already formed opinions.
You are of course correct, the ‘law’ as written is way too vague to actually even apply in many situations. But it is a fun way to call out articles like this!
I would personally say it is more of a rule of thumb for identifying clickbait journalism. But calling it that isn’t catchy enough, much like the first half of this article’s headline 😄
Yeah, it reminds me of some kind of elongated bat’leth
If it wasn’t for him, the house would surely have been overrun with rampaging mailpeople and rabid squirrels by now!
Oh no, I wasn’t “convinced I had you”, I knew you wouldn’t critically think about what you said. I posted that for the benefit of others. I’m sure you’re already aware of the many articles and scientific journals discussing the problem of overpopulation but you intentionally choose to ignore them to push your narrative.
So what you are saying is that given the fact that the world will not just abandon capitalism, overpopulation is indeed a real non-myth problem.
I really want to like Halloumi but I find it hard to get past the squeaky texture. Every bite grates my mind.
Maybe Lemmy isn’t for you.
Great improvement in my opinion, thanks for the quick turnaround!
I love having alternative desktop-first interfaces! Really appreciate you putting the time in to make this.
A couple hopefully constructive thoughts:
I find the text a little bit hard to read. It’s like the text is lightly purple on top of being on a purple background. Maybe one gets used to this over time.
Why the decision to not show profile pictures and community icons without hovering over them? It makes it much easier for me to identify what community content is coming from at a glance when those are present.
If you think there aren’t “chemicals” in the healthy food you eat every day I have some bad news for you.
Even enterprise stuff has largely moved away from Microsoft. They are still dominant in some areas like the business desktop space/office 365/active directory, but ‘enterprise’ apps running on Windows Server (and associated stuff like IIS) with tight Microsoft integrations are a thing of the past.
