Rage inducing. I found something I really like, make it a part of my weekly shopping and it vanishes. I really am old.

I was in the path of totality, but it was crazy cloudy. Figured why not, let’s see it get dark. It was nuts. As the total eclipse started you could perceive the light getting darker quickly. Almost like a dimmer switch got the sky. Then it was dark and cold. It was super cool! I couldn’t even see the sun but it was still awesome.

For me I knew being a manager would be much harder, but my passion is mentoring others and watching them grow.

I literally had this experience. I had a friend that I had known forever. One day we were driving back from some place after having a great time. He, in a barely audible voice, said something to the effect of why couldn’t you have been a girl. I asked him about what he just said but he just pretended like it never happened. Never talked about it again.

Edit. I just realized this was a trans sub! My friend in this story is a cis straight man, I am a cis gay man. If this comment isn’t appropriate for the sub please delete it! I was just trying to share a story.

I was just thinking this the other day. I also remember that you had to open the mouse to clean it because the little internal rollers got tangled in grossness.

The cash thing is becoming way less true. The toilets are legit magic though.

Some light does penetrate the skull. So not completely dark. Also the blood brain barrier is semi permeable, so not completely sealed.

Too cute

Seriously folks. If you brush twice a day and floss once it goes miles in dental health. When you first start flossing it’s going to be a pain in the ass. A month later you will do it without thinking about it.

You need to speak frankly about this with your manager. Your manager needs to talk to this person about what behaviors are acceptable and what are not. If your manager is unwilling to do this, it’s time to go.
