That’s the site not working in microsoft edge neither. I just tried the troubleshooting mode in ff, still the same. It does work with ff on mobile though. Luckily i ordered my new kettlebell last week when it still worked, gonna take a while 'til i need a heavier one :)

Actually i don’t remember all, since i followed links from other sites. Others i found a workaround. The only one i tried to make work and still can’t is suprfit.com.

I haven’t read it for some years, but i remember it fondly. I was very impressed by it. It got me starting to read Keats btw.

I love the poetry focused version by Ursula K. Le Guin:

I wanted a Book of the Way accessible to a present-day, unwise, unpowerful, and perhaps unmale reader, not seeking esoteric secrets, but listening for a voice that speaks to the soul. I would like that reader to see why people have loved the book for twenty-five hundred years.

Most people who try their hands on this book probably know wether they like this kind of story telling (if they get that information before) and wether a trans persons biography is outside their comfort zone. Some will even read it because it’s outside of it. But i suspect biased people will use the non-linear story telling as a pretext to bash the book and thereby the story and person behind it.

Sometimes, I think we as people put the focus on something that isn’t the actual issue. But it takes a lot of reflection and introspection and can be uncomfortable.

On another note, this conversation made me read the wikipedia article on Page and rather curious about the book. I barely knew their name before and never saw a film with him.

Personally i do like non-straight storytelling (yep, pun intended). But most folks i know irl are way out of their depth with any story not moving linearly.

By that line of reasoning all alt-right, homophobe, harassing, doxxing, trolling etc. instances should be allowed to access every other instance to spread their hate. Is that really what you want? I don’t.

I haven’t played it yet but from what i’ve heard it’s geared towards collaborative playing, making the single mode rather grindy.
