Are you in Europe? In the US, our 120 volt mains limit the size of what can go in our normal outlets. I’ve never seen an electronic grill, unless you mean something that we would call a griddle.

Except BBQs are often against fire code so they’re not allowed 😭
Turning leftovers into fried rice generally results in one of my favorite foods. That’s not to say I don’t like more upscale options too, but man.
This whole thing is nuts to me. From the way the article reads, the patient was likely still breathing and had a heartbeat. I get wanting to keep organs fresh, but this seems… non ideal
I use a mix of edge and chrome at work and Firefox and chrome at home. In boring work use (not signed into the browser, no extensions, no real customization), edge and chrome feel pretty similar to me. I will happily admit that I am using both basically out of the box and that if you’re invested in the configuration of one it might be annoying to switch.
I would love to teach kids. I take any opportunity I can to mentor people at work, but in a school setting would be super cool. The pay cut relative to what I make now just isn’t worth it. Maybe in another decade when we have enough set aside…
If you add corned beef to the mix you’ll have yourself corned beef and cabbage. Our “soup” always had way more cabbage and carrots in it than beef.
I just said the same about a PS5. We used a PS3 for a while too, but it eventually gave up the ghost. I haven’t done this in a long time, but the PS3 could also connect to locally hosted media servers. As an American Top Gear fan, this is how I watched that show.
We use a PS5 for exactly the purpose you describe, sans casting. I am not sure how many of the streaming platforms have an app for it, but the ones we like are all here. For casting we use a Chromecast on another HDMI port. We very rarely cast though.
It was probably wrapped and not paint, likely cheaply if stainless was still visible in the door seams. Tesla offers it as a factory option and they call it “color paint film”.
Haha, our kids do go under our table at times but they know not to go under other people’s tables.
I don’t have much tolerance for absentee parenting either, especially if the kids wind up seeking attention from others, by say going under someone else’s table, because they’re not getting enough attention from their own parents.
As a parent of younger kids, we’re sorry. We come armed with as many activities as possible and will take our kids outside if they’re too excited until food gets to the table. That will help them focus on eating.
We very rarely went out to eat when they were toddlers due to fear of our kids bothering others and understand that our desire to experience some level of normalcy shouldn’t come at the expense of others.
All that said, if the parents are trying to keep their kids occupied, please extend some grace. Being a parent can be extremely isolating and we’re simply trying to pretend like we still get to do normal things once in a while.
I wonder how they calculated the range. If it’s representative of the real world drive cycle these will experience, the estimate might not be too far off. A postal route is constant low speed stop and go. Regen is much more effective at higher speeds, so they’re probably dumping most of their kenetic energy to hear via friction brakes. Suspect their drive cycle is going to be something like an endless cycle of 25 kw acceleration, rest, 25 kw acceleration, rest, etc.
… There’s a setting to auto play gifs I just found. Does it not work and/or loop?

Cross posts, or links around Lemmy generally, also open in an embedded version of my default web browser (Firefox), which present the native Lemmy UI. This is a bigger one for me, but I don’t run into it often.
This did it, thanks!
lol, no outline on images does make browing tiles that contain screen shots difficult

Jerboa user checking in. My biggest gripes with it are:
Everything else is pretty solid though. The only nice to have feature would be saving draft replies locally automatically. Reddit is fun did that and spoiled me. Nothing is worse than starting a long reply, life getting in the way, coming back to Lemmy, and being greeted b my refreshed feed.
Your other post on this same topic, with a cross post to this one, renders this way when I clicked the cross post link:
