No, it’s a bullshit comparison because the equivalent to “Jewish-Power-run Ministry” would be “Muslim-Terrorism-run Ministry”, which is not what is being said.
If he belonged to a named group with political goals and motivations, I don’t think it would be unfair to call the prisons run by that group. I don’t think your comparison is as much of a “gotcha” as you think it is.

Which is why I feel that for humanity to succeed we will eventually need an entirely new form of societal governance to replace capitalism & communism, just as those systems replaced feudalism and tribalism. Something like technoism where decisions are made and enacted by machines, incapable of self motivation; or geneticism where leaders’ selfish impulses are either bred or edited out of them. We are still many, many years off from technology being able to accomplish this, but the only way to overcome the human factor is to… well… remove the human factor.
If the election were between Trump and somehow someone even worse who was calling to nuke the entire area and turn it into glass, then I would absolutely be pushing for Trump. Shockingly, if we are trapped in a horrifying, dystopian version of the trolley problem (which we are), I’m going to make the choice that causes the least damage.
Using another analogy, if you have a badly broken arm, you can either set it and try to keep it immobilized, or you can let it stay how it is and all but guarantee that it gets fucked up even worse as it heals wrong. Voting third party is like saying “I don’t like either of those options since they both involve my broken arm, so I choose to pray to the Moon Goddess”. There is no option that immediately stops your arm from being broken. You can delude yourself and say the Moon Goddess will magically fix it, but in reality, you are choosing the option that does nothing and makes it worse. Choosing to set your broken arm doesn’t make you “pro-broken arm”, it’s just the only practical choice given a terrible situation.
Humpback whales have been seen interfering with killer whales that are attacking seals or dolphins. Maybe they don’t see it as “genocide” as they don’t have a concept of the idea, but there is at least some evidence of another species upset at, and willing to stop, the killing of another. I think by that logic, if they could understand the concept of genocide, they would consider it a bad thing.
A dumbshit extremist religion funded and pushed by the Saudi’s broke their country.
Look at how the country was in the 60s and tell me any decade since hasn’t been exponentially worse. That shit plunged them back into the dark ages.
I’m gonna need to see the shirt, not just read what the slogan said. I can’t make any judgement until then because there could very well be more to the story. I’m leaning toward Delta being ridiculous especially if it was just words on a shirt But what if the shirt had someone hanging from a noose or dead from a gunshot wound? What if it looks like the shirt was covered in blood? More context is needed.
I could flip a coin and determine what OS most people are running on their phone with 50% accuracy. Or, in the US, I could just guess iOS and be right 60% of the time.
In this particular engagement, zero. Did you think you had something there?
Is it their dog? Is it raised for food, or would the person otherwise starve? If the answers are yes, then no, I don’t find it cruel. I might find it distasteful, but not cruel. Does that answer surprise you? Good. Maybe you’ll start to see that morals are not universal and not everyone has to conform to yours. That’s the kind of thinking of a child.
Also, penetrating bolt guns are a thing and yes, they do kill.
Bolt guns are used primarily because they’re not cruel. The animal doesn’t suffer, it’s like flipping a switch. Penetrating bolt guns don’t even stun, they instantly kill. I don’t have an issue killing an animal for meat, as long as it’s done quickly and the animal doesn’t feel pain. Animals eating animals is part of nature, and we do it a hell of a lot nicer than any other animal.
The only thought I’m connecting with at 5:30 in the fucking morning is “I’m so tired, I want to go back to sleep”.
The disconnect between the general public and the realities of the petroleum industry may be the largest gap in existence. Pretty much any article you read gets 99% of the info hilariously wrong as the journalist has no idea wtf they’re talking about.
I’ve seen so many people grudgingly pretending what they saw wasn’t one of the coolest fucking things they’ve seen all year all because they hate Musk. Like, you know he’s not personally involved in the design or manufacture of these things right? By all accounts he’s more of a hindrance and these amazing fears of engineering have been accomplished despite him, not because of him.
I personally don’t really care how big of a douche Musk is, as long as he’s willing to fund these kinds of things.
I still haven’t found something better than Chromecast that can stream obscure video sites (yar-har). Everything else seems to only accept large companies with dedicated apps (Netflix, YouTube, Crunchyroll, etc.). Unfortunately, with Google phasing out their Chromecasts, I might have to go back to a super long HDMI cord connected to my PC.
I think there’s a much more lively audience who’s votes could be won with the simple free act of stopping weapons sales to Israel or banning their use on civilian infrastructure.
The issue is that lively audience is mostly made up of those folks commonly known as “the poors”, and therefore their opinion doesn’t matter.
