Uber Eats was like that too, and I just worked for them a few weeks ago
So theoretically, if I want to help out my community, I’d have to sit in parking lots at a store?

Is there a specific reason? Or is it more of a “just because” law?
Oh? You can set an Authenticator like Microsoft Authenticator for Gmail accounts? I know about those apps I just didn’t know what totp meant
I think I tried that but it defaulted to Gmail, I keep forgetting how to actually change that, or at least make google keep that setting. It took forever for it to click in how to change login settings from pixel to iPhone (you know the google app popping up with the “press yes to authenticate”
The whole process just really confuses me.
See, once I was introduced to breeding in Pokémon, that’s all I’ve been wanting to do. Not necessarily make the perfect mons, but just breed until I have the nature I want and then go from there.
I’ve been doing research and the best game, well “best” game on the 3DS era that I can see when it comes to breeding and the battle (whatever it’s called) is USUM, but I like the difficulty of the gen 4 and below games.
Maybe that’s it! I struggle to box my Pokémon for no good reason! They’re family after all and I feel bad 😭
It’s mainly due to the lack of knowledge, I don’t know what hardware keys are, nor do I know what a totp app is, so it’s more of a convenience thing for me and not pretending to know what something is or how it works
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”
That’s fair! :) I feel the same about the Gmail app, it’s not great, but it fits my purposes well enough. I saw the ads OP was talking about, I know I’ve seen them for years by this point, but I never really took notice because they’re so (in my humble opinion) discreet and not really noticeable.
Edit to add, hope you have a good day/night!
Nothing really, just the 2FA I find to be really useful and I’m too lazy to switch over my 2FA settings too.
I can’t seem to get the iOS mail app to work for Gmail, it always, and I mean always pushed notifications like a minimum of 30-45 minutes late for important emails. Maybe even longer, and that’s a minimum.
There’s other email clients I’ve wanted to use: outlook was one and spark was the other. I liked outlook, but again the 2FA was important, and Spark felt like it was a tad bit too gimmicky for an email client (having AI to write an email for me, I mean I guess that can be useful but I’d rather take the time to write it myself)
It sucks that Gmail is pretty much the best app that works with, well… Gmail accounts. At least from what I’ve found. Especially with the 2FA thing where it asks you to press “yes” in Gmail after signing into Gmail from a different browser.
It’s not.
They charge $130+ for an ultra lifetime when its Reddit counterpart was only $10 or under.
They put things like ad removal behind a paywall
Literally nobody would pay over $100 for an app.
And no but the service is.
you don’t have to buy ultra
Then don’t put it in the app. Simple as that.
It’s 2023, we’re really debating over pricing in a FOSS Android app that just so happens to host a website/forum that just got popular only because people don’t like the other main big internet forum?
Oh yeah $20 is fine albeit a bit too much for ad removal but fine
What I really have gripes with is the $130+ ultra thing. I saw that and noped the fuck outta that app and uninstalled it as quickly as I installed it.
It also doesn’t help that when I bought sync pro it was equivalent to or less than $10 and now he wants $20 for a basic ad removal? He’s greedy.
They can get paid, but $20 for lifetime ad removal, and $130+ sync ultra whatever it’s called?
That’s not beer money like another commenter said, that’s fraud and stealing money for barely anything to give for it.
See that’s what most people were saying and when I got into why, I got banned for hate speech.
So why does their opinion outmatch mine?
They’re not bad, they’re just unwarranted.
I was permanently banned from Reddit for saying something about Robin Hobb’s series Assassin Apprentice that it was gay and had a non-binary character, proceeding to say I’d never finish it because of that.
Or I’ve seen countless people get banned from Reddit saying to keep the kids out of the lgbt stuff.
I remember saying before I got banned that I didn’t really agree with pride, mainly because international men’s day is also in June and ever since pride was a thing, that’s been glossed over. So I was upset about it and I remember I got a lot of hateful comments for even bringing it up.
Personal opinions, like my city’s take on safe drug usage to lgbt stances that I don’t agree with
Neither does Jerboa
Damnit, not what I wanted to hear but thank you!
