What will it take for the average person to care. Much less politicians.
God damn, Liberals you have an open goal here. Side with workers just once, throw your weight behind a real labor movement, and you’d leave Conservatives scrambling in the dust. But no. Instead, it’s all half-measures while letting corporations run the show. Missed opportunities are practically your brand at this point.
Yeah, it does sound suspect. I just bought an existing house and it was about 10% and I got most of that back via the first time home buyers rebate. I’d have difficulty believing they would incentivize existing houses so heavily and discourage new housing.
The sheer horror of being conscripted into the Russian military is unimaginable. These soldiers reduced are cannon fodder and are treated as less than human, not even afforded basic sustenance. These aren’t soldiers; they’re disposable bodies thrown into a meat grinder by officials who are nothing short of war criminals. The cruelty is beyond comprehension.
I don’t give a damn about population % changes. Show me the metrics that actually matter:
Immigration has always been a neoliberal scapegoat to distract the misinformed while they gutted worker power and protected capital. The crisis isn’t people; it’s policy.
Israel fighting for anyone’s rights is so fucking laughable
No Donnie, you’re not that kind of Dodger! You’re a draft dodger!
Ontario continually electing the Fords has been one of my life’s great mysteries. It’s like watching a toddler repeatedly touch a hot stove except the burns are privatization, gutted healthcare, and populism that somehow still charms the province.
Internet should be a public utility, not having access to affordable, reliable internet is one of the drivers of inequality and should not be left to corporations acting on the profit motive.
Regardless there’s no point in placating Trump, it will never be enough, this is extortion from an extortionist.
Then may as well just remove segregated prisons
Hear! Hear!
I mean, maybe someone could abuse it but I would rather that then deny someone the right to own their identity.
I hope I didn’t come off as trying to label you as anything, merely engaging in thoughtful discussion.
I mean you read it right there though, they’ve already dealt with it, there’s six. Sort of makes it seem like this legislation is about a political statement rather than trying to address a real problem, no?
The party of small government everyone.
Yup, it was a requirement for the job.
Getting troops for “administrative and clerical functions” bullshit.
We love GOG here. It makes me sad the amount of devs that don’t release on GOG because I’d buy them in a snap.
It’s more and more common to see private religious schools opening up to me and they’ve relaxed how closely they need to follow federal guidance on outcomes. I’m so worried for those children, literally having their future sold away because of a culture war.
The party has clearly shifted right under Carney, but conflating them with the Conservatives isn’t just inaccurate, it’s dangerous. Yes, there’s overlap on some issues, but the Conservatives are far more extreme. We’ve seen what happens when we treat two parties as the same despite glaring differences: it only helps the worst actors.
What we need now is relentless pressure for left-wing policies and holding our politicians accountable.
