  • My wifes old laptop died and I got an ancient gaming laptop from a colleague and put Linux Mint on it. It works great.

She uses it for studying and some light gaming (Stardew Valley). It just works. She never used Linux before but had zero issues using it and she even said its just like Windows, just faster.

  • I saw this multiple times already on Linkedin reposted with huge engagement.

While I understand this is borderline fiction, absolutely unrealistic and in my eyes an equivalent of those pictures with pretty girls laughing with a plate of salad promoting healthy eating, but for me the comment section of this post is the cherry on top cheering how “brilliant” this is. People are so fucked up on Linkedin.

  • Does it give you multiple options for a route? Like fastest/using least petrol/no tolls, etc?

I am currently using Google maps and waze most of the time and tried Organic maps for a while for a more privacy focused option, but it only gives you one option, no alternatives of similar length/time.

Edit: nevermind, just downloaded it and it does offer alternatives. Looking good as well, will definitely test it, thank you!

I also work from home and use my work laptop for work only. Not even googling stuff, nothing. Just work. Never even opened the media player or went to youtubes website once.

I have my own computer running on a separate screen and I can do and watch whatever the fuck I want during working hours. I can play a game or watch a movie and nobody knows. Its that simple.

Same with phones. Never use work phone for personal stuff.

Its not even being tech savvy, just common sense ffs.
