Use critical thinking. No you don’t cycle down a list. You say “hey I think your passport might have an extra letter r in it, you have another credit card, medical card, etc. I can take a look at?”
If anyone with a brain really thinks it’s a forged passport they would skip straight to the whole “denying the transaction” part and reporting it through the banks reporting system.
This whole thread is a mind fuck of really dumb opinions. The cops just should not have been called.
Well thats’ ridiculous. In what world are those the only two options? Number one, two forms of ID are standard banking practices. Obviously if you don’t feel comfortable accepting one you are taught to ask for another.
You are also given free discresion to deny processing transactions (so long as you submitted some kind of AML/ security report) to our compliance department. You dont discuss these with clients, you are taught to make up an excuse or be vague and deny the processing. Common practice for bad checks. These cases are always handled by a dedicated AML/ compliance office of the institution.
Unless you are actively being robbed branch employees are not suppose to be calling the police. This is standard across all large banks.
SOURCE: 15 years across a variety of banks in branch/trust/ and estate compliance.
I would have been severely reprimanded or even fired for calling the police on an error like this. All banks have an AML and KYC reporting guidelines and internal controls. None of them involve the branch employee calling police for document misspellings. It’s not the standard action and should never have occured.
Think this problem stems from it being only medical in most places. I have a script in Florida but it’s in no way a medical need like it is for your anxiety. So you have this large mix of people just looking to get high legally and also those there for legit pain/anxiety medication.
We need to separate these and give doctors more power to do what’s right.
Agreed. This is my largest and really only gripe after switching from Plex. I moved my server over from Mint to Arch and rescanning my hundreds of shows and movies for the Metadata took over an hour. It still missed plenty of shows too. Had to manually update those and each time it took like 5 minutes per season.
The jellyfin UI has been 1000% more responsive and the CSS customization is clean, but damn is the scanning slow. Still not going to back to plex though the input delay was disgusting for me.
Wish Helck had been able to grab a spot
@skankhunt42
Not what you asked but I’m a huge Jellyfin fan. I used Plex for a while but it struggled with Anime and higher bitrates. The interface responsiveness is GARBAGE compared to Jellyfin on my Nvdia shield pro too.
I’m sitting here salivating on my desk at work. This sounds absolutly amazing.
I started with Cyberghost because they were cheap and had no issues. ProtonVPN my go to now though.
I use a zFold 4. Very well could be device. Haven’t had any freezing or comment errors. My only issue has been the infinite scroll resetting after a post/comment so you are back at top.
Kbin doesn’t have an API yet so the apps in development for it are scraping thier own. Artemis is looking incredibly promising and the dev is great.
I’ve been using a firefox shortcut for Kbin and it’s been working great though in the meantime (mobile).
Based on your description and games played I’d say “Furi” and “Transistor”. Second is made by Supergiant Games and all thier stuff is fantastic. I loved thier stories and the gameplay was unique in each.
Dev’s like you make this place work for some of us more technologically incapable people (me) so just want to say, thanks for the hard work!
How is this so hard for people to understand?
