A couple of these are interesting, but for my own sanity I have to refuse to accept most are commonly believed at all. Some are myths either way, like Satan ruling Hell or not isn’t real so it’s kind of a strange thing to include. I think the only one that really surprised me is the banana tree one, which is some interesting trivia but is so pedantic that if someone said that to me in person I’d just want to leave the room.
There are definitely times when it seems like he’s had a hit of something during commercial breaks. He’s often drunk on air (and drinks during the show) so it’s certainly possible.
Edit: I just listened, he’s drunk on air during this episode. And the headline is a quote from Steve Bannon, bit misleading.
Out of curiosity, in which parts of Australia is the V sign insulting? I’d only recognise it as an insult because I grew up watching British sitcoms, I’ve never seen it used that way in person.

Just don’t turn the tap on full blast and it’s fine. You just want cool flowing water to soothe the burn, you’re not trying to clean it or anything.
It’s too blurry to see what year this was, but we’re currently taught (in Australia) not to do the Heimlich manoeuvre. Also that if you’re doing CPR alone don’t bother with the breaths, the chest compressions are more important - only do breaths with a second person so you can keep compressions going uninterrupted.

Insects are a “halal no-no” but there’s an insect in the halal box. Is that a mistake or another of those justifications like beavers being seafood?
Average night when you accidentally open tvtropes.
That’s been happening for ages. I’m sure if you check the profiles you’ll find other posts with all the same bots commenting. A lot of lazier ones wait exactly a year to repost, and it’s pretty obvious in subs for something like a live service game where they’ll be reposting complaints that are way out of date. One in the Monster Hunter sub reposted a trailer for Iceborne which had been out for 3 years by that point.
More screen space with the taskbar on the side. I only use taskbar icons so I don’t have (or want) programs stretching across the whole bottom of the screen, they just bunch up together in the top corner. Also 99% of the websites I’ve used in the past decade have had big spaces on both sides to allow for smaller resolutions, so losing that couple of blank centimetres means I gain a couple vertically that actually get used by the site.
Yeah I was holding onto it because I used to be active on /r/pokemontrades, but I haven’t been back there since the blackout stuff. I’ll DM it.
I still have the code for the mystery gift download if you want that, I don’t think it’s expired yet.
How did you get that? Did we read the same article?
Agreed with that last part. On the rare occasions I go with a controller over kb&m, step one is almost always checking Nexus to see if there’s a mod for PS prompts. You get used to it pretty quickly either way, but it’d still be nice.
I noticed this yesterday when I had a mate over and Hitman was showing the PS prompts, which it didn’t used to I assume because it was spoofing an xbox controller before now or something. Pretty cool I guess. The only thing I’m playing with a controller these days is FF8, which I can’t get to register at all without remapping the buttons as keyboard inputs 🤷♀️
Right. More often than not when these posts pop up you can check their comment history and see exactly why they keep getting banned.
There was, just replace the “one” with “two” in the url and it’s there.
I finally managed to get into Breath of the Wild the other night after getting it on launch day and never enjoying it. I played 9 hours solid, then had to go to work for a few days, so I’m looking forward to going home more than usual.
Other than that, there’s the seemingly endless hunt for my last 3 Monster Hunter World achievements (only ~480 hours in, so I’m doing ok). Also, I’ve finally got around to trying Suicide Squad, and I kinda dig it so far. Just gotta clear my plate a bit for the PC release of FF16 in a few weeks, but I can almost guarantee I’ll be too stuck into either Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom to play it.
