Any cheese substitutes maybe?
But there are.
That’s what I listed in my comment above. That was the point I was trying to make.
None of that changes that the capitalist system and capitalism have a direct impact on other areas of government.
Lobbiest that work for companies do that constantly because of Capitalism. It’s an entire field of work.
What do you mean by one policy?
Capitalism influences many areas of government directly.
It’s not just economics. It’s foreign policy, company regulations, individual protections, land ownership rights, etc. It’s an ongoing list. Even cultural rights are directly impacted by Capitalism.
It is one policy of a larger system.
Right, it’s an economic system that directly influences many parts of government.
Same as any other economic political system.
You’re just describing a political system.
Capitalism is an economic system with as little government intervention possible.
Doesn’t the bolded part make it a political system then?
This is a bot isn’t it?
The problem is there is constantly less moderation in political positions in both parties
The Democrats are moderate. The most extreme “Democrat” I can think of right now is Bernie and he lost his election. And all he was mainly pushing for was Universal Healthcare - something literally EVERY OTHER FIRST WORLD NATION has. So even that isn’t extreme in an expanded worldview. Democrats are moderate, maybe even center right-wing in the grand scheme of the world.
The Republicans are extreme. I can’t even pick one Republican that is extreme. Boeburt, Greene, Trump, DeSantis, Abbott. That’s just the ones that stick in the news the most because of their insane choices and behaviors. Their party literally attacked the capital and tried to overthrow the government and install their own leader. They are as extreme as they can be without causing an all out civil war.
It’s consistent and repeated events that show this.
What are you even talking about about?
The world isn’t black and white either
What is this even in reference to? Nothing the other guy has said is a black or white interpretation - it’s an observation of reality. Don’t just give platitudes, actually give explains and evidence.
I mean… They’re called Representatives right? Because they represent the people?
So, those politicians (Representatives) represent people, yes.
You’re finding a single case and using it to dismiss the whole argument.
It’s obvious.
But that isn’t the only use case of “them” being singular.
And it’s embarrassing for you that you don’t know that.
If you’re not sure, and wouldn’t want to make a comment on it, why are you making a comment on it?
When do you think it was first used in the manner?
Some people tried to replace capitalism with a totally different system and it went real bad real fast. This wasn’t an isolated incident. They tried it in a bunch of places and in none of them did it work.
What examples are you thinking of?
Saw a news article recently that a person fell for an AI FaceTime scan that was imitating one of his relatives. He lost something like $40,000.
Edit: Found it. It was actually over $600,000.

What?
The only options aren’t capitalism or total anarchy.
That is 100% what it is.
Republicans don’t get elected when the constituents are educated. So instead of changing their platform to align with educated opinions, they decided to dumb down the population.
They’ve been doing it for decades and it’s finally all coming to a head.
I’m a teacher and don’t see public schooling lasting more than 5 years.
