LibreELEC on a network with at least one Adguard home instance!!
There’s an older and a new version of the addon. And it works well enough! Even has a helper to clean up the interface around the emby stuff.
The secondary emby app can still control the kodi box the same way also!
I’m an emby person myself and am enjoying LibreELEC a bunch. With the emby for Kodi addon I’ve gotten so used to having every single thing in one interface that when a situation presents itself where I’m using the actual emby app, I get disappointed with the fact that none of the other Kodi addons are there.
It’s pretty slick and once everyone is used to the Kodi interface for all apps/addons we’ve never looked back
“oh no, not the crack slam!!”
What’s a better option these days? I’d be interested in trying to get rid of duckdns

Does the engine give personality or is that from something else? If they swapped engines around is it a brain transplant or a heart transplant?
What about the ship of thesius problem in this universe?
Man, some of my buddies picked it back up and I just can’t understand. How much fuckin money have they given that piece of shit company over the years? And now it’s Microsoft? Sigh
I had truenas installed bare metal, with some jails for emby (jellyfin) and Adguard etc worked well enough but I wanted a little more flexibility.
I installed proxmox on the machine itself, and fired up a truenas VM and passed through the discs (for now until I get an HBA card).
Tons more flexibility.
Oh but you had all this effort to finish
