You mean despite of Christianity.
The book is bigger than at its base. Our society cannot progress without removing it from a focal point.

Progress won’t come from any Christianity (and likely almost any religion, but I don’t know others well enough to comment). They will either need to denounce the book as being bullshit and decide to progress or they will continue to hold society behind.
The willful ignorant who were given plenty of notice and free access and chose otherwise? Specifically the arrogant people like that? They deserve the consequences of their choices, yes.
When it’s self-selected death by hateful people who dehumanize others I don’t have a problem with it.

It doesn’t need to kill them to completely disrupt social order. There’s an estimate out there that there will be up to 1 billion climate refugees by 2050. The Global North already does not handle refugees as well, even though they consistently cause a large amount of the refugee problems.
Yeah, I agree with that. But you can’t get any more solidarity with the wolves, that’s my point. There’s no reason to be hyperbolic about it since it just pushes people further away from realizing the points of these two men.
No, they are absolutely not the biggest, unless you’re talking about classic liberalism instead of something like the Democratic Party. The messaging of the GOP and right in the US is far more opposed to solidarity than anything else.
There is far more participation in unions in Blue states. Union members are also more likely to be Democratic voters.
That said, the Democratic Party doesn’t push working class solidarity either, they’re just not as openly opposed to it.
Successful social movements requires messaging that can reach the lowest common denominator.
And California. There’s a few reasons why a company as big as State Farm (the largest home insurer in the state) stopped writing new home policies there, largely the natural disaster risk.

Skyrocketing insurance is already on the way. Places that don’t outright lose access to insurers will continue to see massive increases over the next decade. US Insurers will all be following suit soon. Property insurance got killed last year and is already getting hit hard this year.

I love those books. Good to know I won’t have to watch the show.
Yeah, the Catholic Church guarded access to education, preventing the rest of the commoners from learning how poorly they translated the Bible to maintain control of the people. It’s too bad the Protestant movement didn’t destroy the Catholic Church.
