The fact that the standard reasoning that leads to workplace discrimination against women caught him off guard says a lot. Ok his friend didn’t call women too hysteric to work but still the other stuff should sound familiar too.
Thanks, seems to work pretty well
It’s kinda interesting from a German perspective because we also have the deeply engained reflex to signal remorse about our fascist dictator. I can relate to a degree because a lot of the phrases I hear do sound quite familiar. Ultimately it’s not really the same of course. Not much we can do about Hitler at this point. Americans still have the chance to somewhat mitigate the spiral of generational shame.
You’re not entirely wrong but Sütterlin was a subtype of German cursive which is much older and they abandoned the (also much older) Fraktur font as well.
Are you saying that’s not what the title is about?
It’s called Sütterlin and had only been created in 1911 specifically for schools. The logistical reasons you mentioned were mostly related to the occupied territories where nobody could decipher German fonts. They wanted everyone to read their propaganda so they chose to adapt. A neat example of how little preserving traditions actually meant to them.
They’re both awesome tools in general! I’ve got a custom ahk script in my autostart folder with tons of functionality like timed shutdowns, pinning windows on top, setting window transparency, filling in my email address when I type “@@” and some other stuff. You can check it out here.
And scrcpy is a great alternative to bringing a laptop if you have access to a PC but want to use your own device. At work, visiting family and so on. I posted my results mirroring a virtual second screen that I set up in the dev options here.
Mixed teams, weight classes, a handicap system. These issues have been solved before the word transgender was even invented. And for some sports a natural advantage is just how it goes. I’ve never heard anyone propose banning tall people from playing basketball. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that what you said is the prevalent opinion and I don’t think it’s neccessarily coming from a bad place. But it’s misinformed and inherently political and I think it’s important to acknowledge that.
how do you guys think about sending woman with abnormally high testosterone to a mostly male team and vice versa?
This for example sounds viable to many people unfamiliar with the matter but in reality we might as well separate athletes by zodiac signs since testosterone levels just aren’t a reliable marker at all.
Another thing I see sometimes is the proposal of an all trans olympic alternative which among other things goes to show that people vastly overestimate the amount of trans athletes thanks to said politicisation.
Blahaj is pretty good. I think you don’t get a downvote option there which I don’t quite understand but the people are chill.
You can’t move your account but you can have multiple acounts with the same name if they’re not on the same instance. In the Voyager app you can stay logged into more than one at the same time. Also you can check out most instances without creating an account so I’d suggest taking a look yourself to see what you like. You can find a list with filter options here.
Stacher is pretty handy. I don’t think there are any drawbacks.
It works fine, just not for resocialisation.
That’s interesting. Here the AfD just cut the middleman and fulfills both roles.
Those designs are straight up attrocious with or without any double meaning. Like what is this shit? Was it an accident? Did they just stitch over an already existing design so they can release a new edition? I viscerally hate what I’m seeing.
Exas
Yeah I wish I mean oh no
This video is the closest I’ll ever come to understanding Nietzsche and I studied philosophy in Germany.
What’s this about?
The opposite is probably true. The blitzkrieg strategy relied on soldiers being able to fight effectively for days on end without sleep. It definitely isn’t a sustainable way to treat your troops but it was very effective and not possible without Pervitin.
