  • I had a shotgun and .223 in the back window gun rack of my truck through middle school and high school (started driving at 14 with a school permit) with shells and rounds in the glove box. Nothing was ever locked where I grew up either; homes, vehicles, businesses.

Granted I grew up in a town with under 1,000 people and the closest ‘city’ to us was an hour away and had a population of 25k.

That was forty years ago and I feel a lot differently about things and the world is a different place but when I grew up more students and teachers had guns in their vehicles at school than didn’t. Everyone hunted, I pulled off and shot a coyote in pack that was stalking around one of my teachers herd of cows on the way to school one winter. I took the coyote into class and gave it to him since I had him first period.

  • I like bone in wings usually because I prefer dark meat but I will also order boneless sometimes when I want the convenience. I prefer options mostly I guess. I get bones in food that is boneless several times a year though. I will have a Jimmy Dean breakfast thing for breakfast a few times a week and I eat them gently because at least one of those per package will have a bone fragment in it. I just had a turkey sandwich last week I made from deli meat and it had a bone fragment in it. I’ve sent feedback and UPC’s get responses that they would check quality control yada yada and sent coupons. I don’t bother anymore, I was letting them know because it fucking hurt my tooth and was hoping it would get fixed. I still have two little bone fragments sitting on my desk I need to toss out now that I think about them. I usually let them sit on my desk for a few days so I can glare at them in disappointment while I’m working.

  • Exactly how I ended up on debrid, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing anymore, I don’t mind paying but I got fed up with everything getting fractured and torn apart due to greedy ass licensing, I wouldn’t have even minded the price increases if it was one, maybe two, services but it’s absolutely ridiculous. I remember paying for up faith and family for a month to binge a show I wanted to watch and really started questioning how dumb I’d become. I got my moneys worth (imo) since I canceled after a month but I don’t have any desire to play the subscribe and cancel game either and it’s become pervasive if you just want to watch something. I knew it would get bad but I’d hoped for better, like Netflix and another competitor fighting for distribution supremacy kind of like Steam. That went to compete shit and I was naive af.
