I would say eve typically do have more controls on touchscreens vs buttons. Now this issue is mainly observed in Teslas more than any other car, but Teslas are the most popular ev so ya it’s definitely more of a problem on evs.

Android auto is great, but it’s also a horrible cluster fuck because it’s up to the automakers to integrate it into their system. Sort of just like Android phones from Samsung and other third-party companies.

The automakers usually fuck it up. It works fairly great on my 2015 Mazda 3 except for if I plug my phone in while the car is in reverse or some other odd times, the head unit just gets stuck on a black screen until I restart the car. Also, the touch screen doesn’t work for Android auto which is a bummer.

What do you mean “heading domestic chip production”, Intel already produces chips in Phoenix.

Both tsmc and Intel are building brand new fabs in Phoenix, I can’t be bothered to check but I’m pretty sure the capabilities will be pretty matched so they won’t be heading or leading still.

I would like to add that if you want to do any real customization of your setup don’t get mac either.

Instead of having your windows float around, they perfectly snap and fill the space of the monitor depending on how many windows you have open. A new DE in alpha right now called Cosmic has both floating windows and tiling, you can change with just a toggle.

Cosmic is great so far, I run it on Fedora.

GIMPs biggest upgrade in like a decade should be coming out this year, you’ll have to check it out and see if it meets your needs when it does.

My co worker has straight gum rot, like a few millimeter layer where the gums meet their teeth that’s all whiteish green and they have horrendous breath I can smell 15 feet down wind of the AC system. This is due to their horrible personal hygiene, he has a wife with good teeth, I don’t know how she kisses him, I would vomit.

He’s only in his early 30’s and also just had to get one of his K9 teeth pulled out.

Unrelated to the main post but your comment brings up a point I think is important for society to understand. “pedophiles are afraid to seek help.” Pedophilia is a mental disorder and doesn’t inherently mean someone is a criminal, or ever will become one. But because it is such a violent and life destroying term to be labeled as a pedo those who have this mental disorder and are struggling to not offend will never seek the mental help they desperately need, this in turn leads to children being harmed.

Everyone is responsible for their actions, and pedophiles who rape or hurt kids are also responsible for their actions, but society as a whole contributes to more children being harmed by the way we represent and treat the mental disorder.
