But there is a point that using “overpopulation” to deflect the conversation from other more important topics when it comes to climate change mitigation is an issue. The same thing a lot of people do with nuclear energy. That while there is truth to it, the intentions behind bringing it up is malicious. Not that that is the case in this thread at all.
It’s been a long time since I’ve listened to this episode of the Climate Town podcast, but as far as I remember they give a very good overview of why “we’re too many people for the planet” is climate misinformation.

To be honest I’m playing LinkedIn games - I like when number go up. My issue is coming with some made up overanalysis to how it defines you as a worker, wrote up in some extremely annoying, verbose post.
