It’s always so sad, yet predictable, when people that get famous become drunk with power and make poor life choices that hurt others. If put to good use, the power these people wield could do so much good.

No idea. It could no longer unlock the LUKS encryption after rebooting from an upgrade. I had to work and just nuked it and started fresh. It happened on both my laptop and desktop after updating, so seems like a bad update.

I switched from Pop_OS! to KDE Neon because I wanted to try out the latest Plasma features. I was tired of GNOME’s bloat and needing an extension/Tweaks for basic functionality.

Then KDE broke screen sharing, bricked my install once by breaking LUKS disk encryption, and then it booted to a black screen on updating to the latest LTS…

So now I’m on Mint and all of my servers are on Debian because I want something that just works. Lol. No more distro hopping.

No offense, but FFS just use a DE at that point. You’re just creating a DE with extra steps. KDE is nice and fairly lightweight.

That said, I don’t have eggs EVERY DAY. FFS my cholesterol would be sky high. I do buy 10-15 dozen eggs at a time, though, because the local farmer’s market sells 15 dozen for $25-30 and eggs will keep for 6-10 weeks in the fridge that is consistently the same low, near freezing temp (perfect for the outdoor, secondary fridge).

They were:

1. Warned ahead of time they couldn’t film there
2. Tried to do it anyway.
3. Got indignant when they were forced to follow the rules like a bunch of fucking children.
4. Then claim the service member had “mental health issues” like that somehow makes them not in the right, assuming it’s even true (which it almost certainly isn’t).
5. Claim they’re going to release footage of the incident, but then never do (likely because it’s exactly as bad as you’d think).

A backup camera and an Android Auto/Apple CarPlay head unit radio that sounds decent. That’s all I want in a car for “tech” that isn’t a safety feature. Everything else can go.
