That’s what I’m guessing. What I was trying to say was that having a printer powered on and connected to the internet while next to a roadside crime scene seems a bit suspicious.
I’m an autistic and ADHD geek. I’m also an aspiring Linux sysadmin. I love Warframe, The Witcher, forest and ocean facts, cats, and tech. I’m always looking to learn new things. I live by a rule of ‘live and let live’, except when someone is hurting or trying to force their way of life onto others.
That’s what I’m guessing. What I was trying to say was that having a printer powered on and connected to the internet while next to a roadside crime scene seems a bit suspicious.
In 2021, Midland County, Texas sheriff’s deputies were investigating the murder of a woman whose burned body had been found in a roadside field.
The sheriff’s office asked Cybercheck for help and received a report claiming that the algorithms had determined, with 97.25 percent accuracy, that Cerna’s cyber profile had pinged a wireless LaserJet printer near the crime scene the day the victim’s body was found.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, but what is a LaserJet printer doing next to a roadside field? Or did I misread this?

2500 is still a tragedy, especially when a good portion of those deaths were preventable
I didn’t mean to imply it was bad. I’ll reword my comment.
Some genes are dominant and some are recessive. Dominant genes override recessive genes regardless of which parent it’s inherited from. Some genes that simply aren’t compatible with each other are altered during fertilization. These altered genes are called mutations. Some are beneficial, some are harmful, but most are benign. Some genes only come from the Mother, which would be the genes for the mitochondria. While some will only come from the father, which would be the genes for the nucleus.
As for X and Y chromosomes. The X chromosome contains a lot of info you need in order to live while the Y chromosome just codes for what makes a being male. If you have a defective gene in your X chromosome and are male, chances are that it’s going to present itself. If you’re female, it depends on if that gene is dominant. One notable case is the genes for the cones in your eyes. They reside in the X chromosome and sometimes one of those genes has mutated. If you only have the mutated version you may be unable to see some colors. As givesomefucks@lemmy.world pointed out, this has advantages and disadvantages.

EDIT: Corrected my wording in regards to colorblindness.
his contract with Adidas says that if he’s in any kind of mental healthcare for more than two weeks, he loses all his money or some shit.
How is that even legal?
It was a Portal 2 reference
Or better yet, it’s better to not require credentials to use a life saving device in the first place.
They could have gotten the ladder, turned off the light, and then used the flashlight to lure him onto the ladder.
I don’t mind telling the game to use a dedicated graphics card and I don’t mind tinkering in general, but I want the graphics driver to work as expected. For example my Nvidia optimus setup doesn’t always play nice with the external monitor and I’m currently dealing an issue where an nvidia specific setting is needed to get some games working, but that same setting causes issues in other games.
Nvidia cards can still be tricky, especially on optimus laptops. It’s not nearly as problematic as it used to be, but I still run into occasional issues with it. If I ever buy a new computer for gaming, I’m going to go with AMD.
Duct tape fixes everything 😈
That may not have been a wise thing to say on the internet.
I use runbox. It costs money, but is affordable. They also take privacy and security seriously, and they take steps to help the environment when possible.
I’ve not actually tried librewolf, so I can’t give an exhaustive list of differences, but one of the main ones is going to be the UI. Zen has it’s own UI that’s specific to zen and made to be very customizable. Also the librewolf site said ublock is already installed, but isn’t on zen, so you would have to set that up on your own. Plus it looks like the security features for zen are the same as the default Firefox security features, whereas librewolf has some additional security features.
