Or alternatively Godot. IMHO it’s a lot simpler to get basic stuff working. The editor can run on a much lower spec machine than unreal and GDscript is good stepping stone between scratch and languages like c#.

I would add that if you’re using Windows then you don’t need a 3rd party anti virus as long as you keep Windows up to date. Many commercial anti virus programs behave more like malware than the things they’re meant to protect you from

When I’m learning a new language I like to try and solve problems from sites like https://adventofcode.com/ or https://projecteuler.net/ I find this gives my learning more of a focus. After you’ve done a few of these you should have enough confidence to attempt your own projects
JJ had very little to do with Lost after the first half season. He just helped set up some of the initial mysteries and left it to Lindelof to try and sort out the resolution. Lindelof went on to do some amazing series… the Leftovers and Mrs Davis both have good (although somewhat ambiguous) endings
I had all my best ideas stareing out of the window on long train or bus journeys. These days I’m constantly “entertained” by my phone so it’s much harder to get into the same state of mind.
