Here is a recent response on github about privacy that you may find relevant.
Thanks I will test this later.
So how do you do this? Do you just @ the community in your toot and it posts here?
Just block !reddit@lemmy.ml and that should filter out a lot
Among the large instances, sh.itjust.works, sopuli.xyz, feddit.de, beehaw.org, lemmy.one, lemmy.ca, and midwest.social all have lemmygrad blocked. Beehaw seems to already have Hexbear blocked too - very ahead of the curve, gotta respect that.
Meanwhile, lemmy.world, lemmy.blahaj.zone, and of course lemmy.ml do not have lemmygrad blocked.
I’m not sure where you can read about the blocking. If you ask the liberals, they’ll probably say something about genocides. If you ask lemmygrad, they’ll probably just say cause they’re libs. Anyway, there’s not that many users. If someone is annoying you then just block them.
That’s already built-in by being able to block instances. For example, you can’t see my comment right now because your instance blocked mine, presumably because you didn’t want to be brigaded by communists!
Just take a screenshot and use it as your avatar here lol
When were the good old days? Maybe America was better like 8 years ago, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone call 2015 the good old days lol.
Yeah one time it was like 1 yr old posts all by the same person, too.
Green hydrogen via electrolysis of seawater without desalination? That actually sounds quite impressive.
The technology costs as little as 11.2 yuan (US$1.57) per kilogram (2.2 pounds) of hydrogen – much less than the current mainstream cost of hydrogen production from natural gas, which ranges from 20 to 24 yuan per kilogram.
This sounds too good to be true! I wonder how it compares to other fuel-equivalents…
I don’t understand why so many people are making concessions towards advertisements. Yes, some aren’t too bad, but at the end of the day all advertising is just brainwashing you to buy more things. If we’re going to dream about an alternate universe where the internet was better, we don’t need to compromise with our imaginations.
but what could we have done to prevent it? im not sure paywalls would’ve been feasible, i feel like most people would refuse to pay or just avoid your website all together. maybe a paywall network of websites of some kind could’ve worked? but its really hard to say.
So people don’t want advertisements but they also don’t want to pay for a bajillion subscriptions. I think the solution is socialization of the Internet. Governments should simply guarantee funding and make up the cost in taxes.
I thought you’re not supposed to keep things charging after they reach full battery. Also I don’t have a plug near my bed lol
