that is fair I suppose. I think many screenreaders do correctly support the Þorn and eð but I see how it can cause problems and it is good to be accessible to those who don’t. I would encourage rolling your own crypto for fun, because, well, it is. But yeah, you should maybe also make clear that people should not use it, because that is rule 1 of cryptography.
That was one of the things that made me ultimately switch back to lineage, though mostly because none of their documentation is updated to refelct the change, wwhich makes it really hard to fix a lot of things.
