The thing is, there’s “iwd” and “wpa_supplicant”. You use either one or the other, but not both. Sources like the Gentoo handbook will tell you that but, not all Wiki’s do as good a job of pointing that out <…looking directly at you Arch…>.

Yea, I get it, some will disagree but, in the end, I’m a bigger fan of “call out culture” than “cancel culture”. The former gives the person a chance to course-correct.

I don’t know, Linus is still trying to excuse and justify. It would seem taking him out of the driver’s seat was the right call. As for the rest, they are responding because their backs are against the wall. Time will tell if they will really make any changes.

You can’t. Furthermore, the consequences of “people pleasing” and “conflict avoidance” can do far more damage than the occasional bad rep. In fact, if you’re consistent about setting and enforcing reasonable boundaries, you’ll ultimately gain more respect in the long run.

I’ve been trying running a VPN on my phone as a matter of course lately (Proton). I’m assuming it not only keeps your ISP from knowing where you’re going but, more importantly, advertisers and trackers as well.

I’ve been with EndeavourOS for longer than that…I WAS THERE MAN!..I WAS THERE! . (also GRUB Customizer sucks…IYKYK) . I would eventually get GRUB working again but, it was not the same. I went to systemdboot.
