I think that it is more about creating a routine for this particular person than the dog being neglected. Having the dog water on the list normalizes everything else. There was no instruction to clean up dog pee everywhere either.
Personally, it’s amusing at best. In the same way as the girl in Jurassic Park using “Unix” to hack the system.
That being said, I still give mad props for the development that occurred during that era.
The joke is that a couple of drunk guys enduring an eternal winter came up with something better than silicon valley could.

I grew up on PBS and books. Couldn’t tell you if it was good or bad, but that TV had a lot of of impact on me.

They use this mixture at my work as well. Flushing out large sub freezing cooling systems. We don’t dump it out on the street though.
