I find the Samples (what I’m assuming you’re referring to by saying “shorts”) feature actually kinda useful for discovering new music. I flip through it every few months to hear snippets of recent hits or what YouTube might think I’d be interested in without committing to listening to an entire song.
I don’t like how this article hyperbolizes the amount of booing. Compare the moments of booing to the very end with the mix of cheers/jeers where that sounds like the entire audience giving a reaction.
Yes it’s important that jorkin depeanus vance got booed but misrepresenting the level of heckling from the crowd isn’t journalism that respects its readers.
Is it possible to implement a perfect guardrail on an AI model such that it will never ever spit out a certain piece of information? I feel like these models are so complex that you can always eventually find the perfect combination of words to circumvent any attempts to prevent prompt injection.
They are both legit. The lite version just has to follow the new v3 manifest rule where it cannot update its block lists independently from full extension updates. This effectively puts a significant delay in the ability of uBO Lite to block new ads/threats, among other small changes that neuter the traditional uBO experience.
Oh yeah, that one is great one too! Definitely the highlight of the weaker second-half in my opinion.
This movie is such a trip. I unironically love the first half of the skits, up to and including the superhero dating.
Damn I thought I was doing good having the 3 frozen. Good to know that new ones can just sprout up like that.
Someone on Lemmy did a markdown test of all existing Lemmy apps and posted the results. Raccoon was one of the worst performers, and after seeing the results the dev went nuclear.
Here’s a comment on the original post talking about it. I think the thread’s OP ended up removing Raccoon from their results but the damage was already done.
Let’s say a user decides to download an app from the Play store but the app contains code that is malicious or harmful, users are protected by Google Play Protect which is a security feature that scans apps for malware and other threats.
Then why was that app approved for distribution on the Play Store

Still, according to electionbettingodds.com, which averages online betting sites, Kelly has a 34.9 percent chance of being the presumptive nominee’s vice-presidential pick.
Also according to that site, Kamala Harris has 0.8% odds to be Kamala Harris’s VP, slightly edging out Gavin Newsome.

It doesn’t fix those already affected. And affected machines require manual intervention, because they cannot boot up to receive any sort of automatic patch.
Acids don’t work as well on the substances that contribute to typical household drain clogs compared to bases, which is what Drano is.
When it enters your drain pipes, the sodium hydroxide reacts with fatty acids and proteins from your typical clogging culprits like oils, grease, soap scum, hair, and food particles.
This reaction generates heat, breaks large molecules into smaller ones, and liquefies solid gunk. The extremely high pH enables the sodium hydroxide to saponify fatsand dissolve organic matterthrough chemical decomposition.
Acids simply wouldn‘t have the same cleansing effects on drain clogs. Grease and oils are composed of tough-to-break-down fatty acid chains that resist acidic breakdown.

If you are cramped for storage space for cleaning supplies, you can buy and hang a shoe cubby on the back of a closet door and use it to store all sorts of things.
There’s different types, such as ones that are actual racks and others that are pockets like this:
Google Fi is a god-tier service for traveling abroad. When I went to South America I paid nothing extra vs my friends who had to deal with Verizon’s ridiculous travel plan fees.
If I need to remember to bring something with me when I go out I’ll put my keys on top of it.
Because people want the latest iPhone or Samsung and paying $ per month works better for them than $$$ upfront. The alternate finance method you speak of isn’t very well known, so it’s most simple to contract with a carrier.
But you aren’t going to accidentally turn on your heated seats, unlike a tag that is meant to be attached or stuffed into places where accidental activation is much more likely.
