Just to put some context to this: the German contingent fighting for Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan was about that same size
So for our military that is a really big deployment

I guess if you trace her German-American father’s heritage, you’d find their family name likely came from the German “Erhardt” or something like that… So in that case yes, the original pronunciation of the family name (and indeed the way German people say her name today) it would actually sound like “Air heart”
Always trying to one-up the US 😄
Well not so much cracked open…just sloshing around like water in a tub and overflowing on the sides. Still scary AF… imagine you being in that pool at that moment 😐
New fear unlocked: being splashed out of a rooftop infinity pool during an earthquake 😵💫

Hehe this came up minutes after receiving an RCS phishing message pretending to be Amazon 😄
Let’s hope the transition from Pax Americana to Pax Sinica will go over mostly war-less…
The Heritage Foundation is a state sponsored terrorist organization and should be dealt with accordingly.
Let’s see what my favorite 2000’s game critic had to say about it :D https://youtu.be/MqTreOK5YUQ
Truly mind boggling to see how very little a site that once called itself “The Frontpage of the Internet”, seems to understand the internet
Wh…why is there lube on my puzzle? ಠ_ಠ
Don’t get me wrong though… throwing an LLM at it would be a lot easier and faster. Just a mind boggling use of resources for a task that could probably be done more efficiently :D
Setting this up with Apache Solr and a suitable search frontend runs a high risk of becoming an abandoned side project itself^^
Oh, no need to wait for LLMs. Apache Solr should be really good at it. We used it at a company I was working at to build the most kickass search into our platform, that would actually find the stuff you were looking for…and that was back in 2018 :D
Honestly, I think this was probably the initial product idea for this Microsoft Recall shit. If I could have something like that running locally, open-source and with a non-insane security architecture, I’d never again use a folder in my life.
Dump it all to ~/mytrashpile
and let the AI figure out what I want I’m looking for 😄
Yeeeah for me it’s https://readeck.org/en/ …but same :D
These ideas are getting refined by fermenting in my tab stack!
What is this!? Mama didn’t raise no bottom!
Also means if Russia decides to attack at night, Lithuania is shit out of luck 😄
