Tampermonkey is a Firefox extension that can run scripts to interact with web pages. It’s great for bulk operations like mass deletes.
Reddit is intentionally holding onto my data. The are intentionally trying to keep it even though accounts go away. Since I’m an American in a red state there’s only so much I can do about this. But Reddit’s intentionally preventing my data from being deleted. This is intended behavior by their site.
Open source - probably some issues I’m too lazy to find but me and anyone else can search for and fix them whenever we want.
Closed source - there is no war in bah sing sei.
I miss what Reddit used to be. It was great. But in the end it was just so so so bad. Some of the subreddit were as bad as kiwifarms, and others were terrified of becoming like that so they overcorrected and it became a platform of extremes.
Facebook is a right wing cesspool. It doesn’t matter what you set your preferences to, you are getting right wing propaganda and you are going to like it. I killed that account.

I’ve been working to delete all my stuff on a banned Reddit account before I delete it. Most of my accounts are done except for two. One I can’t get into for some reason. The other is my main and it keeps lying about or hiding my posts so I can’t get to all of them and delete them. I have tampermonkey scripts that have been running for days and there’s STILL shit that keeps reappearing after reddit pretends to delete it.
You don’t get to keep my content AND ban me from using your platform. I’ll just keep whacking away at it until it’s dead but fuck it’s this a needlessly complicated pain in the ass.
To be fair, those pretty old designs produced a lot of plastic waste. The aluminum ones are much better for the environment. Still, I do miss the interesting designs, shapes, textures and colors.

microsoft is building newer versions of the kernel to rely on cpu instructions that are not present in old CPUs. you can’t “hack” around that. At some point, the kernel will ask the CPU to do something it doesnt understand.

Not always true. Letting me from an account information TO something specifically is a risk, but simply demanding they remove MY data from an account that’s not mine is not a fraud concern. Thats the opposite of a fraud concern.
Moreover, I was able to prove I have that number in that I have all the information they gave me access to through that number.
I’m not able to get a new number right now. I’m still dealing with some shit that I can’t risk losing contact with someone just because they might have an old number. There’s a possibility I can change it out again tomorrow n a few months when things calm down but not now.
I’m telling them to stop involving me, not involve me more. that’s hardly a scam. further, their inaction can lead to fraud, so its really is in everyone’s best interest if they do something about this.
