The reason why is because historically in Canada people who weren’t white were treated way worse by white people and even though things have improved today, the effects of that mistreatment still affects many people today.

Oftentimes police do nothing when people report sexual assault and rape. Bringing these things to public attention can sometimes be the only way to bring awareness to what happened. You can decide to not believe the alleged victims but there’s nothing wrong with them coming out with allegations.

I started using Chromebooks in elementary school and my school used them all the way through high school. I can confirm that the majority of kids probably have no idea how to do anything outside of chrome and the google suite of apps since that’s where the majority of our digital literacy curriculum focused.
