Here in NYC last call is 4am. Whenever I travel I always find it really weird that most places in the US close so early.

Just keep in mind it will hide posts you submit, so if you want to check on your own OP you have to unselected it again.
I feel like that entirely depends on the subreddits you’re subscribed to. For me I have an /r/WTF post at 13, and then not another default sub until… an /r/AdviceAnimals post at 47.
While I love Lemmy and will continue to contribute to it. My reddit experience feels very much the same as it always has. The key was to abandon most of the large subs a long time ago.
Good for you! I recently changed jobs to a more stable position after asking for years to be put on full time staff at my old one. Once they filled a position with an outside hire instead of bringing me on full time, I knew it was the end of the road. Now I get paid almost twice as much plus amazing benefits to do about half the work.
It was over a long time ago for me when I realized that most AAA games were all the same. Might as well wait until they’re $20 anyway.
The enshitification of everything is underway.
Reddit used to have that with a browser add on called Reddit Enhancement Suite. They cut off access to the downvote numbers a while ago. I’ve missed it ever since.
I was part of the Digg exodus. I’m now a r/efugee but glad to be here. I like how decentralized everything is.
That fixes it! Thank you. I’ll leave this question up just in case someone else has this issue.
Does anyone play Slay the Spire? There’s a cool community driven game going on, on the subreddit and it’d be cool to bring it over here too.
The internet felt so different until MySpace took over. I was still young, but I remember running like 3 Geocities sites, one that got fairly popular, and the social media came along and ended everything about the old internet.
I have a feeling all of the default subs will be taken over pretty quickly. The small subs will be forgotten about.
I went from Digg to Reddit and now I’m looking for a new home. I’m really liking what I’m seeing here!
Yea at the very least, it’s taught me to diversify my browsing. I’m glad to be a part of the fediverse now.
The only way I’m watching this abomination is if they announced a 12 month delay to reshoot the whole thing with a completely new production team.
Dont even hate watch, Netflix doesn’t care if you like something just that you watch it.
